3D printing, (also known in this case as FDM 3D printing), is a process of creating 3D objects from digital designs. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods that involve removing material from a block (like carving from wood or milling metal), 3D printing builds objects layer by layer using various materials such as plastics, metals, or even concrete! (Here, we only use plastic, though).
Imagine a 3D printer like a high-tech printer that doesn't just print on paper but builds physical objects. It works by taking a digital model called a .stl file that can be converted by a "slicer" to the instructions for the machine, a .gcode file. This tells the printer what to do as it prints your object up layer by layer. This process of converting a .stl file to a .gcode file is done by me, so don't worry about having to do that yourself.
This technology opens up a world of possibilities, enabling the creation of anything from simple toys to household items. Whether you're a hobbyist, an engineer, a designer, or even just a regular person, 3D printing offers a versatile and innovative way to bring ideas to life.
Here you can explore the potential of 3D printing and unleash your creativity!
All you need to do is go to any 3D printing website like thingiverse.com, printables.com, or yeggi.com and find something you like. From there, just copy the link in the address bar and put it in the "URL" form on the custom orders page.
Additionally, you can make your own models through apps like tinkercad.com or Autodesk Fusion 360. You can just upload those models to me through an email and leave the URL area blank.
At the moment, we only accept payments through PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App on our main website. If you cannot use these, you must order through our Etsy page to use debit/credit cards.
We are always looking for more ways to take payments to make the payment process easier than ever.
We provide all shipping through USPS. When your order is ready to be shipped, I will email or text you the USPS tracking number so you can see the progress of your package. Before that, I will give you live updates of the printing status of your creation.
Shipping costs are usually ~$4-6.
Note: Due to demand we may sometimes experience high shipping waits.
We do accept returns, but there are some limitations.
1.) If a product is damaged, we will not accept it being returned.
2) Your packaging must be sufficient enough to protect the print from breaking upon return.
3.) You must pay for the return shipping label.
4.) Returns are only accepted within the first 14 days of receiving your order.
